Model Katie Cleary, known for stints on America's Next Top Model and Deal or No Deal, is grieving the loss of her husband, Andrew Stern, who has died of an apparent suicide.

Spokesperson Ben Decker confirmed that Stern took his own life with a fatal gunshot wound on Sunday, noting although he was going through a split from his wife, depression is what caused him to commit suicide.

"On Sunday, June 22, Andrew Stern, husband of Katie Cleary, committed suicide at a shooting range in the San Fernando Valley," Decker told People.

He continued, "Andrew and Katie have been in the midst of a very amicable separation and had remained on excellent terms. This is devastating news for us but we have been aware of Andrew's longtime struggle with depression."

Moreover, Cleary is shooting down rumors that Stern’s suicide had anything to do with her being photographed with Leonardo DiCaprio or Adrian Grenier.

Her rep told E! News they “have been separated and in the process of finalizing their divorce for a few months,” adding any relationship with the actors is “simply platonic as she was there to promote her animal welfare documentary Give Me Shelter. We respectfully request her privacy be given at this difficult time and have no more comments on this matter."
