Fans of the popular HBO show Game of Thrones just said goodbye to Pedro Pascal following the most recent episode which premiered last Sunday but for die hard fans of the actor, Pascal has already signed onto a new project reports EW.
Deadline first announced the news that Pascal is to act opposite of Wagner Moura in Netflix’s new drama series Narcos. The show is based on the true story of cocaine drug cartels grown and spread across the world while law enforcement makes incredible efforts to catch up and meet head on in conflict.
The story focuses on Pablo Escobar, played by Moura, a Colombian who is the leader of the cocaine industry and Javier Pena, played by Pascal, a Mexican DEA agent sent over from the US on a mission to find and kill Pena.
The show will premiere on Netflix in 2015 and is written by Chris Brancato and directed by Jose Padilha. It is produced by Gaumont and executively produced by Padilha and Eric Newman.
