The world premiere of Hallmark Channel’s original movie Wedding Planner Mystery is set to air Saturday, Aug. 16 at 9 p.m. ET/PT.
The movie, about a wedding planner caught up in a real life murder mystery after being framed, is based on the Deborah Donnelly novel Veiled Threats.
Via a press release, the Hallmark Channel revealed the movie will star Erica Durance (Smallville), Andrew W. Walker, Brandon Beemer, Chelan Simmons and Rick Ravanello.
Durance plays main character Carnegie Kincaid, a wedding planner and perfectionist in all areas of her life. When a bride (Simmons) is kidnapped following a murder, Carnegie becomes a top suspect. While attempting to clear her name, Carnegie is sought after by news reporter Aaron Gold (Walker) and a detective (Ravanello), while a handsome lawyer (Beemer) seeks her affections.
Wedding Planner Myster is a Reel One Entertainment Production. Tom Berry and Meyer Shwarzstein are the executive producers, Gilles Laplante is the producer, Ron Oliver is the director and Darcy Meyers is the screenwriter.
