Harrison Ford was observed leaving the London hospital Saturday night where he spent the better part of two weeks recovering after breaking his leg while on the set of Star Wars: Episode VII.
According to Entertainment Tonight, the 71-year-old actor was photographed in a wheelchair leaving the John Radcliffe Hospital, after having surgery on Thursday.
When news first broke of the veteran actor getting injured while on set, it was believed to be an ankle that was broken, but later it was confirmed to be his leg.
His rep, Ina Treciokas, said after the surgery that it went well and Ford is "doing well and looks forward to returning to work." It is believed that he will require nearly two months to recover from the accident, which would filming to focus elsewhere for the time being.
Ford is reprising his role of Han Solo in the upcoming Star Wars film being directed by J.J. Abrams. Other familiar faces include Mark Hamill, Anthony Daniels, Peter Mayhew and Carrie Fisher. Some new faces to the series include John Boyega, Oscar Isaac and Adam Driver.
Star Wars: Episode VII is scheduled for a Dec. 18, 2015 theatrical release.
