Iggy Azalea is not too pleased with Lorde's tribute to Nirvana at the Rock Hall Tribute to the band.
Billboard reported that Azalea had some very harsh and critical words for Lorde regarding her performance.
Lorde had performed in tribute to Nirvana at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony on April 10 in Brooklyn.
MTV added that this tribute took place 20 years after the Death of Cobain and that when it comes to ages Azalea is not close to being a peer of Cobain's either.
"Nothing against her, but I think when you're doing a tribute to someone that's dead, generally it should be the person's peer, Lorde is not Kurt Cobain's peer. No matter if she killed the performance or not, I just don't think it's appropriate," said Azalea.
Lorde has not been one to shy away from responding to critics and other artists in the music industry but at this point she has not commented on Azalea's thoughts regarding her performance.
Azalea is currently on the charts with her latest single, "Fancy." Which is at the top spot on the charts for a second week in a row. Will it be possible for Azalea to top Lorde's debut single, "Royals" which was at the No. 1 spot on the chart for nine weeks back in 2013? Only time and musical star power will tell.
