Even after winning the Heisman Trophy and leading Florida State to the BCS Championship, Jameis Winston’s dad thinks his son will play another two years in college before entering the draft.

Antonor Winston wants his son to play at Florida State for total three years, according to an interview with AL.com.

“We want Jameis to succeed with one more year in baseball and two more years in football,” he said. “We’ve never strayed from our plan that he is going to be in college until he gets that degree.”

That degree is will be engineering in the biomedical or mechanical field.

Jameis is also a closer on the Florida State baseball team and was made a third-team preseason All-American by Baseball America.

His father also told Al.com that football could end sooner than most people expect saying, “We have heard for him to go in the first round of the baseball draft then he will have to give up football.”

Winston won the Heisman by throwing for 4,057 yards and 40 touchdowns along with gaining 219 yards on the ground with four rushing touchdowns, according to ESPN.
