Jennifer Lopez, 44, and her boyfriend, Casper Smart, 27, have split after dating for over two years. Neither have commented on their break-up but sources say they started talking about it a few months back.
The “I Luh Ya Papi” singer is just too busy promoting her new album and Smart, who she met as one of her backup dancers, reportedly has his own career path now that he’s started choreographing for her.
"It has actually been an amicable process that started a few months ago. It wasn't an easy decision, but they decided to stay friends...Their relationship couldn't work with the distance. He started trying to establish his own life and career, and she is so focused on hers, and they just couldn't be all about each other anymore,” a source told Us Weekly.
Lopez and Smart starting dating in 2011, just four months after her split from ex-husband Marc Anthony. Lopez has been married three times - to Ojani Noa then Chris Judd and Anthony.
Sources insist Lopez’s split from Smart had nothing to do with recent rumors he had cheated on her with a transgender he met online.
TMZ reports he is now setting his sights on acting.
