Former Suburgatory star, Jason Sisto, will be taking on a very different role in the upcoming zombie drama from A&E.
Deadline reported that Sisto will be staring along with Mark Pellegrino and Kevin Alejandro in the 10-episode upcoming drama series.
The series which is titled Returned will tell the story of a small town who goes through an extreme ordeal. In this small town several people who have been dead for a long time suddenly come back to life.
The Wrap first reported the news that the show was being adapted for the small screen. David McKillop, general manger and executive vice president of A&E explained that this will be the perfect complement to the other scripted offerings that will be seen in the new A&E lineup.
“’The Returned’ takes an incredibly unique approach, filled with suspense and twists and turns, to the subject of the living dead,” said McKillop.
That new lineup includes Norman Bates highly anticipated Bates Motel.
