Jillian Michaels’ return to NBC’s The Biggest Loser was short-lived, as the network announced on Wednesday that the trainer won’t be returning to the show this fall.

Michaels is severing ties with NBC and production company Shine America, marking the third time she’s left the show.

According to The AP, the network was asked whether or not Michaels’ departure was the real deal this time and they declined to answer, rather replying that they want to keep the focus on the show’s 16th season.

Michaels returned to the show again in 2012 after taking a break to become a new mom with her partner, Heidi Rhoades. The couple adopted two-year-old girl in 2012 – named Lukensia – from Haiti and incredibly, during the same week that the couple brought home their little girl, Rhoades gave birth to their son, Phoenix.

Michaels’ rep has not responded for comments on her latest departure from the show and it isn’t clear who will replace her.
