San Francisco 49ers head coach Jim Harbaugh isn’t exactly known for having a sense of humor, but he put one on full display for a Dockers pants commercial. In it, his wife Sarah urges wives everywhere to stop their husbands from wearing dad pants.

Sarah explains the definition of dad pants, those shapeless, baggy khaki pants that some men wear. She saw how it transformed Harbaugh’s look. “My vibrant, successful football coach of a husband suddenly looked like he hung the curtains from his belt,” she says in the video.

However, Dockers pants will solve that. A pair of the brand’s pants have turned Harbaugh into a new person, so that even his daughter doesn’t recognize him.

At the end of the commercial, Dockers and Sarah announced a contest to win tickets to a 49ers game. Of course, there’s also a hashtag to go with the campaign, “#StopDadPants.”

Harbaugh coaches one of the best teams in the NFL, leading the team to the 2013 Super Bowl, although he lost to his brother’s Baltimore Ravens. At the end of last season, the team made it to the NFC Championship game.

According to NBC Sports, Harbaugh is signed with the team through 2015, but talks have stalled when it comes to a contract extension.

He will be putting a serious face on next week, when the team starts mandatory minicamp.
