Josh Brolin has just signed on to co-star along side George Clooney in the upcoming Joel and Ethan Coens' feature film, Hail Caesar!. The Coen brothers will be directing the movie.
Not many details are known about the film but it is being described as the story of a Hollywood fixer back in the early 1950s. The movie will follow this fixer who is working to keep the stars of a movie studio in line.
Variety reported that the Coen brothers will be producing the film along with Eric Fellner and Tim Bevan for Working Title Films. This will mark the eight time that the Coen brothers have worked together with Working Title.
This is not the first time that Clooney has teamed up with the Coen brothers. He worked with the brothers on O Brother Where Are Thou, Burn After Reading. Brolin has worked with the creative duo before as well on the critically acclaimed No Country for Old Men.
Entertainment Weekly added that Universal Pictures confirmed that they had acquired the distribution rights to Hail Caesar!.
