Warner Brothers announced Wednesday that the movie Jupiter Ascending original release date of July 18 of this year has been pushed back until February of next year.
With star actors Channing Tatum and Mila Kunis set and the main characters the movie was much anticipated by critics and avid movie goers. The Wachowski brothers who wrote, directed, and produced this film have a resume that would put most to shame with movies such as The Matrix trilogy which will only add to the excitement of this film. .
According to The New York Daily News the decision, which came less than seven weeks before the previously announced release date of July 18, is highly unusual in the movie industry.
Also Variety states that the domestic distribution chief Dan Fellman said that the Wachowskis needed more time to complete their work on more than 2.000 special effects shots.
At least we all will have something to look forward to in 2015 now.
