Former Brazilian soccer star Kaka and AC Milan have decided to let the soccer player out of his contract with the club.
Kaka has been strongly linked to Orlando City SC, one of the newest members of Major League Soccer. The AP, reports that he will fly to the US on Monday and sign with the team.
In a statement sent out by AC Milan, the club said the both parties came to a mutual agreement to end the star’s contract and that he will always be welcomed by the team.
According to Daily Mail, before the MLS season begins, Kaka will be on loan to Sao Paulo, where he began his professional career.
The former FIFA World Player of the Year in 2007 played with AC Milan for seven seasons from 2003 to 2008 and the 2013-2014 season and scored 104 goals in 307 appearances for the club.
In 2009, he joined Real Madrid for a then world record of £56 million. Kaka played for Real Madrid for four seasons, before rejoining AC Milan.
Orlando City SC will be joining the MLS in 2015 and will be playing in their home games in the Citrus Bowl.
