Singer Kelly Clarkson took to social media on Friday to show off her newborn daughter, River Rose, with husband Brandon Blackstock.
The photo, posted on Twitter, shows her daughter alseep inside of a carriage. The former American Idol winner wrote, "Here is our beautiful baby girl River Rose; 6lbs 60z, 18 inches, and the greatest thing on the planet."
A second tweet revealed that the picture was professionally done by Archetype Photo and taken by Koby Brown. Clarkson thanked them and said, "Once again, y'all knocked it out of the park!"
Clarkson and her husband welcomed River Rose last Thursday, but waited until Saturday to make the announcement, which again was done through Twitter.
She had been predicting a baby girl ever since she revealed the pregnancy news back in November. Clarkson insisted that she would have a daughter, noting, "I'm manifesting it! And when I have a girl, you're gonna be like, 'That chick knew it!'"
River Rose is Clarkson's first child, while she is Blackstock's third. He has an 11-year-old daughter and 7-year-old son from a previously relationship.
