Kenan Thompson, former Nickelodeon star and one of the cast members of Saturday Night Live, is a new dad after his wife gave birth to a baby girl on Friday.

E! News reports Thompson and his wife, Christina Evangeline, were married in 2011 and this is their first child. Thompson’s rep reportedly told E! News, “Kenan and his wife Christina welcomed daughter Georgia into the world at six and a half pounds. The family is home and absolutely blessed.”
According to Us Weekly, a source confirmed the baby was born on June 20. Back in March, Thompson revealed the news he was going to be a dad when he made a guest appearance on Late Night With Seth Meyers.
He also reportedly joked he would go to the casino Evangeline would be ready to have the baby, as he was terrified at the idea of becoming a dad.
TMZ reported the baby girl’s name is Georgia Marie Thompson.
Evangeline’s Instagram has a photo of Thompson looking down at his newborn baby in awe. Another photo shows Georgia sleeping on her mommy’s chest. Congratulations to the new parents!
