North West, the daughter of rapper Kanye West and Kim Kardashian, is certainly living the life at the tender age of one.
The youngster enjoyed a lovely birthday party this past weekend, which was themed “Kidchella.” Prior to the big event, North’s mom decided to give her an additional birthday gift in a more private manner.
Us Weekly reports that the young star had her ears pierced in her private home, as Kardashian wanted it to be more personal, and avoid the typical mall-carts and salons. North debuted her new style with diamond studs at her birthday party, and the act is causing some controversy between Twitter users.
The Huffington Post notes some of the conversations, including one tweet that said, "Kim Kardashian appears to have pierced her baby's ears. Said it before & I'll say it again, piercing a baby's ears is disgusting & cruel” and another, which said, "That's cruel AND tacky.”
Whether the world likes it or not, baby North is living a life of luxury, and is only getting started. Happy birthday North!
