Lauren Conrad’s bachelorette party in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico wasn’t all fun and games.

The event ended early on Thursday night when Conrad stormed out of the venue, The Office on the Beach, because the restaurant allegedly discriminates against same-sex couples, according to USA Today.

Conrad and her group of girlfriends, including Lo Bosworth, Jilli Hendrix, and Hannah Skvarla, took to Twitter to share their disapproval of the anti-gay policies. “The Office in Cabo does not allow same sex couples to participate in couple games. Had to walk out. #equality #StopThe Hate,” Conrad tweeted.

However, a manager for The Office claims the restaurant does not enforce anti-gay policies. The manager told E! Online, “We invite all diners to participate in our games. We’ve never had an issue before with homosexual couples. We are not homophobic at all. We have waiters, runners, and a chef who are gay. We’ve never had a homophobic incident at The Office.”

Although the manager was not at The Office during the incident, she believes that the situation was simply a mistake, reports E! Online.

“We hire an MC who runs the games, and I don’t know what he may have said or how he addressed the crowd, but it must have been a misunderstanding,” the manager said.
