Rapper Lil' Kim gave birth to a healthy baby girl on early Monday in the Hackensack University Medical Center in New Jersey, who weighed in at 6 pounds, 5 ounces and is 19.5 inches in length.
The new mother revealed she was pregnant back in February after showing up to New York Fashion week with a baby bump. Despite being pregnant she still performed on stage during an after-show.
Lil' Kim told Us shortly after the news first got out that she was excited to be a mom, but planned to continue working on music. "I'm still going to work. I'm still going to be hardcore," the rapper explained. "The baby has made me even more of a beast."
Her friend Jennifer Dalton also revealed that Lil' Kim should be a good mother as she loves kids and being around them. "She is very, very good with kids. She loves kids!"
