Liza Minnelli has a good sense of humor, at least when Ellen DeGeneres isn’t making fun of her at the Oscars. A rep for the Oscar winner sent Shia LaBeouf a copy of Cabaret on DVD so the actor could learn how the story of Sally Bowles ends.

Scott Gorenstein, a rep for Minnelli, told E! News that he mailed LaBeouf the movie. “I figured he may want to find out how it ends,” Gorenstein said.

LaBeouf will hopefully have time to see the entirety of Bob Fosse’s 1972 masterpiece, although he might find it to be a little different from the show he (partially) saw.

The Fury actor was arrested Thursday night during a performance of Cabaret on Broadway. He was reportedly disruptive and even smoking in the theater. Later, he refused to leave and needed security guards to take him out of the theater.

He appeared disheveled in court Friday morning and was released on his own recognizance. He was charged with harassment, disorderly conduct and trespassing. He is set for another court appearance on July 24.

LaBeouf has had a rough few months, with strange behaviour that included his infamous “I am not famous anymore” paper bag at the Berlin Film Festival.
