Los Angeles Dodgers sail past St. Louis Cardinals 9-1

The Los Angeles Dodgers (46-37) had an offensive frenzy against the St. Louis Cardinals (44-38) winning 9-1 Saturday.

Zack Greinke (10-4) struck out 10 in seven innings, and was the beneficiary of a seven run cushion after the second inning. The Dodgers scored six runs in the second inning on Cardinals starter Lance Lynn (8-6).

Lynn threw 45 pitches in the second, was looked at the by the trainer multiple times, and seemed to have trouble gripping the ball. He was relieved from the mound after two innings, equaling his career-worst according to MLB.com

In the midst of the Dodgers offensive spur, infielder Justin Turner suffered a strained hamstring that forced him to leave the game in the second inning. Turner was hitting .347 (37 for 99) with 17 RBIs since May 11 according to the Los Angeles Times

Second baseman Dee Gordon hit a pair of doubles and an RBI. Seven different Dodgers batters drove in a run.
