New details are slowly emerging about the fourth season of American Horror Story. This time, Ryan Murphy gave us some more information about a new character played by Michael Chiklis.
According to Ryan Murphy in an interview with TVLine, Michael Chiklis will be playing a strongman married to Angela Bassett’s character.
“He has scenes with Angela and Jessica Lange and Kathy Bates," Murphy said. "I love the part because it’s really written to be quite vulnerable, which is something I think Michael does so well – the strong man who’s vulnerable.”
Michael Chiklis is best known for his role as Vic Mackey on the FX series The Shield, which ended in 2008.
Though Sarah Paulson recently revealed she would be playing conjoined twins in the new season, according to Entertainment Weekly, not all of the characters have been revealed yet.
According to BuzzSugar, Kathy Bates knows what her character looks like, but doesn’t know much else about her yet.
“In fact, I’ve just gone to costume fittings, and we’re still developing the character," she said. "I haven’t seen the script yet, and we start shooting in the middle of July, so time’s a-wastin’!”
American Horror Story: Freak Show will premiere this fall on FX.
