The 68th Annual Tony Awards are set to air Sunday, June 8 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on CBS.
Hugh Jackman will be returning as host for his fourth year, while Clint Eastwood, Bradley Cooper and Orlando Bloom will be in attendance, according to Reuters. Tony nominees Neil Patrick Harris and Idina Menzel, for Hedwig and the Angry Inch and If/Then, respectively, will be performing at the show along with Sting.
On casting such a big star in Hedwig and the Angry Inch, composer Stephen Trask said, “It’s not about stunt casting! There are plenty of people that if we just wanted to stunt casting, we could have cast. Stunt casting is easy; we waited for the right guy,” reports Billboard.
Harris has plenty of experience with the Tony Awards, as he has won three Primetime Emmys from hosting the Tony Awards in the past. There’s a chance he’ll be host again in the future since he is once again eligible.
