In The Interview, there is an attempt to assassinate North Korea’s leader Kim Jong Un. Rogen co-wrote and co-directed The Interview with his collaborator, Evan Goldberg, according to The Guardian.

Rogen found out the world leader was planning to see the film, and the actor posted his thoughts on Twitter.

The film seemed to get jeers from the folks in North Korea. According to Thoughtcatalog, a North Korean spokesperson said, “[this] shows the desperation of the US government and American society.” He added, “A film about the assassination of a foreign leader mirrors what the US has done in Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria and Ukraine. And let us not forget who killed [President John F.] Kennedy – Americans.”

Perhaps, fans will have a different opinion.

Rogen was previously in This is the End, The Guilt Trip, and 50/50. He was also in this Summer’s 22 Jump Street. James Franco has appeared in Palo Alto, This is the End, and Child of God.
