Olivia Wilde is firing back after GQ published a review of her newest independent film, Third Person, featuring a handful of sexist remarks.
Where else would an actress as witty and confident as Wilde turn to respond to such a situation? Her official Twitter account, of course.
GQ writer Tom Carson penned a biting review of Third Person, which stars both Wilde and Liam Neeson. The GQ review talks extensively about the sexual relationship between Wilde’s and Neeson’s characters while objectifying women and treating them as sex objects.
In one bit, Carson writes, “She's [Wilde] supposed to be a writer too, but your belief in that won't outlast Wilde scampering naked through hotel corridors once Neeson playfully locks her out of his room. With that tush, who'd need to be literate? Who'd want to?"
The 30-year-old actress has since responded to the writer’s sexist comments, tweeting, “HA. Kiss my smart ass, GQ.”
HA. Kiss my smart ass, GQ. “@Jezebel: Olivia Wilde's ass too nice for her to play a writer, says GQ review http://t.co/WJx8BbjWgJ”

Both Carson and GQ have apologized for the incident over Twitter.
We blew it, @oliviawilde. We regret that boneheaded joke in Tom Carson's "Third Person" review. So does he.
