On the cover, the musician is donning a Native American headdress. While the cover is accepted in the fashion world, people are not so happy.
The “#NotHappy” hashtag was created as a result of people’s disapproval of the cover.

According to the Rolling Stone, Pharrell released a statement. The statement read: “I respect and honor every kind of race, background and culture. I am genuinely sorry."
This is not the first time celebrities have earned backlash from the Native American community.
