After eight years of hosting the NFL draft, Radio City Music Hall will not be housing the event in 2015.

According to ESPN, on Thursday, league spokesman Brian McCarthy said that the NFL is looking at possible sites to host the upcoming draft since the usual venue will not available in April or May.

New York City could still hold the event, however, at another site.

The league said that it is also looking at Chicago and Los Angeles as possible destinations for the next draft.

"I've talked to the commissioner, and he's been very open to that (bringing the NFL draft to Los Angeles). I think he wants to make sure he spreads that out," Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti told NFL.com. "Here's the collision of Hollywood and sports. We all are fans here, but let's bring the NFL here for the draft."

The good news is that no matter where the league decides to hold the event, McCarthy said that it will take place in mid or late April. The bad news is that the NFL plans to drag it out for four days.

A decision on where the annual event will take place could be made by the summer.
