The second day of Seahawks minicamp has already been the most eventful thanks to cornerback Richard Sherman.

Sherman and wide receiver Phil Bates were involved in a heated altercation that resulted in the two men getting physical during practice yesterday. Teammates intervened and practice was halted while head coach Pete Carroll lectured the team, according to Bleacher Report. The altercation was captured on video.

The tension was brief however as teammates were later seen laughing about the incident and shaking hands. Sherman and Bates made up and he and teammate Percy Harvin did a playful recreation on the sidelines according to a tweet from The Seattle Times reporter Bob Condotta.

Safety Earl Thomas, one of the players who was involved in trying to break up the scuffle had this to say about the incident:

"We're all so competitive if you press one wrong button, everybody will clear the benches."

The NFL 2014 regular season begins on Sep.4. The Seahawks will host the Green Bay Packers in the opening game on Sep.4 at 8:30 p.m. ET.
