Rapper Rick Ross was arrested by police in North Carolina on Friday night over a warrant that was issued after he missed a court appearance in 2013.
After he got done performing at the Greensboro Coliseum for SuperJam 2014, Ross found police waiting to take him custody since he failed to make a court appearance after he was arrested on a misdemeanor of marijuana possession, The Associated Press reports.
The rapper was said to be amiable when the Greensboro police arrested him. Ross posted $1,000 bail and was set free.
Billboard notes that over the past six years, Ross has had to deal with various legal issues. In 2008 he was arrested for guns and marijuana possession and then later in the year he was picked up for assault and battery charges and then in 2010 he was sued for copyright infringement.
A year later, Ross was arrested for marijuana possession again and also had to deal with another copyright infringement lawsuit.
