Actor Rob Lowe and his family were at their European vacation home when rising flood waters caused them to be rescued by fire fighters.
The Daily Mail reported Lowe, along with his wife and son, were evacuated from the home when a huge storm caused massive floodwaters to appear in as little as four hours. Lowe and his son posted photos of the storm, as well as the rescue.
A photo of his wife, Sheryl Berkoff, hugging a first responder came with the caption, “My wife being rescued this am (morning) in the horrific flooding in Grasse France. Glad we are safe. Grateful to first responders.” His son, Johnny, is also seen in the photo.
The Daily Mail has the photo Lowe took, however, the picture appears to have been deleted on Lowe’s Instagram page. He did take a picture of the floodwaters.

Rob’s other son, Matthew, tweeted a message with his thoughts going out toward the flood victims, as well as to his dad and brother to be safe.
Johnny also posted a video on Instagram of the flood reaching the home’s first floor. He apologized for the language he used in the caption and did a hashtag, ‘#theboyssurviveaflood.’ He thanked the first responders on his Twitter account.
Entertainment Tonight reported that Johnny tweeted a message saying, “Thank you to the fireman that saved us from this nightmare. Happy for us all to be safe, thoughts to others.”
