Sarah Jessica Parker has taken on a new television project. The actress, known to many from HBO’s Sex and the City, is taking on a tv show based on the book, Busted.

According to The Huffington Post, the actress will be playing a journalist again in the new series. The pilot is based on the book, Busted. The show from the creators of True Detective trails two reporters and the corruption inherent in the Philadelphia Police Department’s corruption.
David Frankel who also worked on The Devil Wears Prada worked on several episodes of Sex and the City. Don Roos, who worked on Web Therapy, will write the pilot.
“Wendy and Barbara have written an amazing true story, and we’re thrilled for it to be SKE’s first television project. Sarah Jessica’s coming on board, along with David Frankel and Don Roos, is simply a perfect combination that we couldn’t be happier about," saidJim Tauber, president, and Carla Hacken, president of production at Sidney Kimmel Entertainment, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Hacken will serve as executive producer for the project. The collaborative team of Hacken and Frankel have worked together on The Devil Wears Prada.
