A gunman opened fire late Thursday with a rifle, injuring three other people in the vehicle, reported the Los Angeles Times.

The man fired several rounds at the white SUV the rapper was in.

The shooting took place at an outdoor venue at Red Rocks in Colorado, where about 4,500 people attended.

Schoolboy Q, whose name is Quincey Hanley, was not injured in the shooting.

Thousands of people were at the concert. As the show was ending, the gunman emerged from the bushes and began shooting.

After the shooting, the gunman fled.

According to NY Daily News, the shooting was not a coincidence.

Jackie Kelly, a spokeswoman for the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office supports this claim.

"This is not just a coincidence. We think there is probably more to it than that. It does seem to be more targeted than random,” she said.

The concert benefited three groups, such as the Gang Rescue and Support Project of Denver.

Hanley took to Twitter to tell his fans that he was doing fine.
