What do Shailene Woodley and Miley Cyrus have in common? They both are not afraid to speak up and out on what they believe in.
The Fault in our Stars actress recently spoke out in Cyrus’ defense in the Woodley’s issue of Vanity Fair about the girls behavior, attitude and why it is no ones business. “Miley isn’t rude or mean or cruel to anyone in her actions. She just does herself,” Woodley states in her article to the magazine, as she goes on to deliver the old time message, if you do not like it then it does not matter because it is none of your business.
Entertainment Weekly highlights that Woodley goes on to discuss that if parents truly do not like seeing what the former Disney star is up to, then change the environment at home. “Don't make a big deal of what she's doing. Make a big deal about the bullies at school who are beating kids up,” is one message the young and upcoming star is attempting to make.
Moving onto the topic of role models, the Divergent star says, “The greatest people who have inspired me in my life don't go out trying to be a role model. They just are devoted, and they're not afraid of what other people think of them."
