Shia LaBeouf may be out of Hollywood, but he can’t escape the media spotlight.

The 28-year old actor was escorted in handcuffs outside of the Broadway show “Cabaret” Thursday night after disruptive behavior, reported ABC News.

Police said while inside the theater, LaBeouf was smoking and being disruptive.

When asked to leave, he refused.

LaBeouf threatened officers and people outside after being asked to leave.

According to the Daily Mail, LaBeouf was taken to the Midtown North precinct where he was being questioned.

One report claims that the actor was yelling, while another says he had been drinking.

But one thing for sure was that the actor was removed from the Broadway show for doing something other than watching the show.

“He was causing a disturbance inside the theater. He was escorted out of the theater where officers met him and he was taken into custody,” an NYPD spokesman said.

A man captured a photo of LaBeouf as he was being escorted outside.

This comes months after the actor claimed he was ‘retiring from public life because of attacks against his artistic integrity.’
