After airing only four episodes, Showtime has already renewed Penny Dreadful for a second season.

Penny Dreadful, a Victorian-era drama with elements of horror starring Josh Hartnett, Eva Green, and Timothy Dalton, is currently airing an 8-episode first season. The show aired to so-so ratings but has since become the network’s most watched show on Showtime on Demand, Deadline reports.

The network obviously supports the show.

“The goal here was to see if we could do a genre show a horror show but with all the sophistication and depth of a Showtime show,” Showtime’s president David Nevins told Entertainment Weekly. “It’s been well reviewed by mainstream critics, it’s giving us a Comic-Con-appeal show. It’s a whole new world as imagined by Logan.”

Past episodes of Penny Dreadful can be viewed on Showtime on Demand. Current episodes air Sunday at 9 p.m. ET on Showtime.
