Marvel Studios is trying to move forward from the recent drama that has surrounded their upcoming Ant-Man project.

The project had been helmed by Edgar Wright for many years until recently when Marvel announced that Wright would be leaving the project and Peyton Reed would be directing the project moving forward.

MTV reported that actor Simon Pegg is taking to his Twitter account to show his support for the original vision for Ant-Man.

Wright and Pegg have often worked together on a number of projects. This tweet explained that Pegg did have a chance to read the screenplay for Ant-Man and that it might have been as great as fans had been hoping for.

Ant-Man currently stars Paul Rudd and Michael Douglas, The Guardian reported. Douglas recently spoke out about the departure of Wright and that he was "very disappointed" by the news.
