Do you know someone that constantly wipes their hands with moist towelettes during meals? If so, they might appreciate Trongs. Apparently, Trongs are plastic utensils you can use to eat your food without touching it. No more oily fingers or hands smothered with barbeque sauce. You can enjoy finger foods without technically using your fingers. It turns out; these bad boys can be used for prep as well. Though I love to cook, I hate touching raw meat. I got used to it, but I used to go to extreme lengths to clean poultry without touching it.
Want to give them a try? 6 pairs of Trongs can be yours. They usually go for $24.95, but you can save 10% on Amazon. If I haven’t one you over, maybe a few reviews will sway you.
As of Tuesday, June 17, 2014, 22 customers have left reviews. 12 of those were 5 star reviews. One of the top reviews comes from O. Byrd. I am assuming this customer felt that some people provided false reviews about the product.
Trongs are a solid solution to a slippery problem.

O. Byrd: An actual, honest review of Trongs

I do not enjoy eating with my hands. I prefer to eat chicken and even pizza with a knife and fork, and tend to avoid wet sandwiches. Others carry hand sanitizer, I carry cleaning cloths. ..I spotted Trongs online, and knew immediately that they would be well used by both of us… My son uses then almost daily, and I have brought them along to potlucks and picnics, where they were tried by other guests and enjoyed…The only small issue I have is one of portability. The bag they are shipped in is flimsy, and would be difficult to clean. They are too bulky to keep wrapped in a simple cloth. I am looking for a convenient way to carry these with me when out and about.

This customer had a lot to say. This is not the whole review, but you can read it here Based on the complaint, I don’t think these are meant to be used outside of the home. Maybe Zenergy will make a to-go carrier next. As functional as these things are, they still look funny to me. I’m not the only one that thinks so.
At first, Deb got them for her husband. However, the joke was on her.

Deb: Great Gift for My Husband

The Trongs started out as a gag gift for my husband who HATES to get his hands messy when he's eating...but he loves the Trongs. They're definitely amusing, but they're also very functional!

At least she is giving credit where it is due. She didn’t buy them to use them, but her husband seems to be reaping the benefits of her joke. Did you know these make a great fashion accessory? Yes, people will be envious of your Tongs. At least, it is the impression I am getting from Saleem Zandi.

Saleem Zandi: Perfect

Use it for all finger foods. Washes easily and fund to show off. Simply love it. They should come up with more colors!

Did you read that Zernergy, you need to make more colors! Overall the product looks functional. You are getting 6 pairs for under $25.00, but are it worth the money? If I saw these at a store, I would probably consider it. Otherwise, I don’t think they are worth it. Don’t forget shipping and handling. O. Byrd mentioned the flimsy packaging. If you think it is worth it, by all means try it out.
