Twenty-three years after its 1991 theater release, the film Thelma and Louise is being celebrated for its important role in cinematic history, and uniting the duo of Susan Sarandon and Geena Davis once again.

In honor of Thelma & Louise being named number 59 on The Hollywood Reporter’s list of Hollywood’s 100 Favorite Films, Sarandon and Davis reunited to take some photographs and answer some questions for the magazine.

Along with imitating the Polaroid selfie that their characters Thelma and Louise took in the movie and taking a few other black and white shots, as reported by The Daily Mail, the pair opened up about their movie experience, including what it was like to work with a then relatively unknown Brad Pitt.

Sarandon spoke of highly of Pitt's talent to The Hollywood Reporter saying, “…It seemed like it was absolutely, absolutely easy for him. When I saw the movie and I saw him in the scene in the police station, that's when I knew that he really was something special. There was really something there. He's a very smart guy.”
