Now, instead of lusting over Olivia Pope’s fierce White House ensembles through your television screen, you can go out and buy them for yourself.
This fall, The Limited will debut its Scandal inspired clothing line, according to Entertainment Weekly. Ms. Pope herself, Kerry Washington, in collaboration with Scandal costume designer Lyn Paolo, developed the line. Us Magazine also reports that The Limited’s head of design Elliot Staples was also involved in the development of the line.
Entertainment Weekly reports that in a statement, Washington called the line “A nod to our devoted fans. to fans of fashion and to women everywhere who are inspired to boldly pursue their passions and look good while doing it.” Fans of the show will also not have to worry about breaking the bank with the new clothing. Although Olivia Pope’s outfits are typically designed by such high end names as Prada and Dolce and Gabbana, prices for the clothing will start at $49, according to Us Magazine.
"The whole team took great care in creating a collection that reflects Olivia Pope's unique style. We believe the collection tells a story of confidence and professional sophistication as well as maintaining a strong feminine point of view," Scandal costume designer Lyn Paolo said in a press release, according to Us Magazine.
The line is due out on September 22.
