June 21 marks the first official day of summer! To celebrate, here’s a list of all the songs that will be playing over and over again till the end of August. These songs are already being heard over the radio and have also made the top of music charts everywhere. That doesn’t mean that radio stations will stop playing them. Oh no! The songs have only started being played! Back in 2012, Carly Rae Jepsen reached the top of the charts with her quirky song “Call Me Maybe” which has gotten stuck in so many people’s heads. This past summer Robin Thicke came out with the hit “Blurred Lines” and Daft Punk’s “Get Lucky” featuring Pharrell Williams, was being hummed on people’s lips. Last but not least, who hasn’t heard Zedd, featuring Foxes, “Clarity” over 20 times? These songs are those that you are not embarrassed to dance to and some might be those that you wish never existed.

6. Me and My Broken Heart
“Me and My Broken Heart” has high-pitched vocals and a bouncy rhythm that sounds similar to Rob Thomas’ “Lonely no More.” Rixton is another boy band from England along with the popular One Direction. They are not the only boy band on this list either. So far, Rixton’s “Me and My broken Heart” is their only song that has hit stations in the U.S. but with all popular this song is becoming it won’t be last.

One Republic is one of the more popular pop bands to date. They have come out with the lovely pop tunes “Stop and Stare” and “Secrets.” One Republic adds a lot of string instruments to their songs making them moving and full of emotion. “Counting stars” has more of a bounce to it but it still has the One Republic feel.

This may be Iggy Azalea’s first appearance on this list but it won’t be her last. If you listen to ITunes’ radio top 50 hip-hop chart station, the first three songs will either be by Azalea or featuring her. “Fancy” will most likely be the first song you will hear on the same station. In other words, you will most likely hear at least three Azalea songs a day on the radio.

2. Any Song from 5 Seconds of Summer
Just like Iggy Azalea, the boy band 5 Seconds of Summer has more than one song playing on radios. Their hits include “She Looks So Perfect,” “Don’t Stop,” and “Good Girls.” The Australian boy band seems to have a good thing going for them and with boy bands being such a big genre it’s no wonder they have more than one popular song.
