Big Brother's Thursday premiere topped all shows for the night in the ratings, while NY Med returned strong in overall audience but not demo.
Unsurprisingly CBS took the night with a 1.5 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 4.75 million viewers. After repeats of The Big Bang Theory and The Miller, the Big Brother second episode averaged a robust 2.3 rating in the demo, HitFix reports. An Elementary repeat ended the night for the network.
Fox followed with a 1.3 demo rating and 3.69 million viewers. Hell's Kitchen stayed steady with a 1.7 in the demo and Gang Related followed with an even 0.8 rating.
Just managing to snag third place, NBC averaged a 0.9 rating in the advertiser-important demo and 3.08 million viewers. According to The Hollywood Reporter, two hours of new comedy Undateable managed a steady 0.8 rating, but Last Comic Standing stumbled to a series low of a 1.0 rating.
ABC came in fourth, averaging a 0.8 demo rating and 4.75 million viewers. Black Box dropped to a 0.6 rating and Rookie Blue slumped from a fairly strong season premiere episode to a 0.8 in the demo. NY Med returned with a strong overall audience of 5.5 million viewers, but fell to a 0.9 rating.
