We begin this episode right after the BOTB competition and Amber and Jocasta are celebrating being off the nomination block. HOH Cody hopes that the POV goes smoothly because he doesn’t want any more blood on his hands. The current target for the week is Brittany. Brittany and Victoria both feel very alone and defeated and don’t trust a single person in the house. Amber, Cody and several others are in the HOH room when Caleb comes in and just stares at Amber and Cody sitting on the couch, talking and flirting. He leaves the room and everyone acknowledges how awkward that was. Caleb just won’t get over Amber. He complains outside to Brittany about it. He doesn’t understand how she doesn’t appreciate anything he has done for her. I sense a possible alliance forming here. Caleb also complains to Zach about the Cody/Amber situation, which of course knowing Zach immediately relays the conversation to Cody. It seems like something interesting could happen post POV comp.
HOH Cody, nominees Victoria and Brittany, Zach, Nicole and Caleb are the players in the POV competition. The POV comp is called “BBCup”. It is a multiple round competition with the players kicking their soccer ball into numbered goals. The person with the lowest score is eliminated. Every person eliminated gets a prize. Cody is the first person eliminated. His prize is the Veto, but that will obviously change. Brittany is the second person eliminated. She gets the penalty kick prize, which means she has to get ten kicks in the butt. She trades with Cody. Zach is the next one out. He wins a vacation to Germany. “I am taking Frankie.” Best line in the episode so far. Nicole is eliminated. She trades with Brittany for the Veto. Victoria is the last person eliminated. Caleb wins the POV competition. In a shocking move, Caleb doesn’t take the POV from Victoria, but takes $5000 from Nicole. In the end, Victoria is the winner of the POV and is safe for the week.
Cody is pissed and tells Frankie and Zach that he wants to put Caleb on the block. Frankie does not agree with this plan. Brittany’s prize from the POV is to score 2400 goals in 24 hours anything the buzzer goes off. Cody’s prize is he has to take penalty kicks in the butt every time the whistle blows. Nicole has to wear a “German unitard" for 24 hours. Donny talks outside with Zach and Hayden about the possibility of putting up Caleb. It would be a big game move to take out Caleb. Brittany is so upset and defeated while doing this punishment from the POV. She finally hits 2400 goals. ‘The Detonators’ talk in the HOH room about who to nominate. It sounds like its going to be Caleb or Donny, as a pawn.
I’m not sure what Cody is going to do. I like Derrick’s reasoning in the diary room: ‘The Detonators’ have the numbers and they should not take out Caleb yet. Cody and Donny talk upstairs while he contemplates his move. He tells Donny to his face that he is not nominating him. Cody goes outside and announces to several HG that Caleb is going up. Frankie pulls Derrick aside in the morning and says that Cody wants to put up Caleb. Derrick talks to Cody but I’m not sure that he changed his mind.
It’s time for the POV meeting. It’s obvious that Victoria is coming off the block. She uses the POV on herself. Cody does the safe move and puts Donny on the block as a pawn. Cody feels awful that he had to put him up. Donny is determined to find out who is in Cody’s ear and telling him to put him up. Who will be evicted next from the house….Brittany or Donny?
