ABC announced its Fall 2014 premiere dates at the Television Critics Association press tour today. Dancing with the Stars will kick off the 2014-2015 season, along with the new series Forever.
The Disney-owned network will use DWTS to launch Forever, which stars Ioan Gruffudd as a New York medical examiner with immortality. This appears to be the big new series for the network, as two episodes will air during premiere week.
ABC is going to stick with the Shonda Rhimes night plan on Thursdays. All three of Rhimes’ shows will air that night, including the new How To Get Away With Murder with Viola Davis.
The new Tuesday comedies Selfie and Manhattan Love Story will actually start the week after most of ABC’s shows will return. This is to make room for two special DWTS results shows.
