We are now just one day away from the biggest disaster to hit New York City - a Sharknado. Yes, SyFy’s much-ballyhooed sequel to Sharknado premieres tomorrow night and the network’s owner, Comcast’s NBCUniversal, is making sure you don’t forget. Star Ian Ziering was on Today this morning, to show off parts of the schlockfest, including Al Roker and Matt Lauer’s cameos.

Lauer and Roker filmed their cameos back in April, showing off their shark-fighting skills against a green shark that will probably look more threatening in the final product. On Today this morning, we got to see more of their scenes, which includes Roker’s super serious scientific explanation for how two Sharknadoes can attack the island of Manhattan.

“I’m really nervous about this,” Roker tells Lauer. “In fact, I’m downright scared.”

A trailer for the film was released earlier this month. Ziering and Tara Reid both return and, unless they can find something better to do, will probably be back for a third one. (Can they just stay out of Florida? A Sharknado is the last thing the state needs. It’s crazy enough.)

Sharknado: The Second One premieres on SyFy Wednesday at 9 p.m.
