Fans of Phil of the Future’s best friend Keely and the actress that played her received some happy news on July 15, as actress and singer Aly Michalka announced her engagement to her boyfriend, director Stephen Ringer.
Michalka, who is known for her past roles in movies such as Easy A and The Roommate, announced her engagement on Instagram earlier this week, with a picture of her beautiful engagement ring and the caption, “So this happened.....7/8.”
The 25-year-old also shared the news on Twitter, using the same close-up picture of her ring and saying, “Wanted to share the exciting news! Feel very blessed to know such a great love #engaged x Aly.”

The star, who also sings in the band 78violet with her sister AJ, hinted at the engagement earlier that same day, Instagramming a picture of her and her sister with the caption, “Hmmm….no one’s noticed yet. #Lookcloser.” After examining the picture Michalka’s engagement ring from Ringer is clearly visible on her left hand.
The happy couple has been together for more than one and a half years according to E! Online.
