Aly Michalka, a former Disney Channel star, has announced that she is engaged to her boyfriend, director Stephen Ringer.
The current Two and a Half Men star, 25, shared the happy news with her Instagram followers first. She posted a picture of herself that had her engagement ring front and center on Tuesday. “Hmmm....no one's noticed yet. #Lookcloser,” she wrote in the caption.
According to People, she later used Twitter to share a close-up of the ring. “Wanted to share the exciting news! Feel very blessed to know such a great love #engaged x Aly,” the tweet read.
Us Weekly notes that the two have been dating for a year and a half. She recently shared a picture of the two enjoying a romantic dinner out.
Michalka performed with her sister AJ Michalka for Disney as the duo Aly and AJ. Now, they go by the name 78Violet. She appeared on Phil in the Future and the film Easy A. She joined Two and a Half Men last season, playing Brooke.
