Beyonce has one weapon in her war against tabloid rumors: Instagram. Ever since she joined the social network two years ago, she’s used it to attack rumors head-on and the current rumors about a divorce from Jay Z are no different.
As previously reported, the New York Post sparked gossip that Jay and Bey are going to end their long (at least in showbiz terms) marriage after their On The Run tour is over. So, in typical Beyonce fashion, she took to Instagram to share a picture of her happy family in response.
The cute image shows Beyonce and Jay Z swinging their one child, Blue Ivy Carter. There was no caption included. The “Drunk in Love” singer also posted a backstage photo from their Houston show and everyone looks happy there.
Beyonce’s most recent Instagram post shows her doing the pose from the iconic “We Can Do It!” World War II poster, with her sleeve rolled up and she is wearing a bandana.
Of course, as one half of the most powerful couple in music, Beyonce has had to respond to her share of silly rumors. She used Instagram to hit back at pregnancy rumors last year and posted photos with sister Solange Knowles after the infamous Met Gala elevator incident.
She is also using Instagram as a publicity tool for projects she likes. She posted the Fifty Shades of Grey movie teaser on her page over the weekend.
