The 2014 MTV Video Music Awards nominations were announced Thursday morning, and further proved that this is Queen Bey’s world and we’re just living in it. Beyonce Knowles scored the most nominations with eight, just getting past rappers Eminem and Iggy Azalea, who have seven each.

Beyonce and Jay Z’s “Drunk In Love” video leads the Video of the Year field, which also includes Azalea’s “Fancy” with Charli XCX. The other three nominees there are Miley Cyrus’ “Wrecking Ball,” Pharrell Williams’ “Happy” and Sia’s “Chandelier.”

Beyonce also scored nominations for Best Female Video (“Partition”); Best Collaboration (“Drunk in Love”); Best Video with a Social Message (“Pretty Hurts”); Cinematography (“Pretty Hurts”); Editing (“Pretty Hurts”); and Direction (“Pretty Hurts”).

Eminem’s “The Monster” with Rihanna scored a Best Male Video nod and for Direction. “Rap God” was nominated for Art Direction and Visual Effects.

Azalea’s “Fancy” was also nominated for Best Female Video, Art Direction, and Pop Video.

The VMAs are moving back to California and will be held at The Forum on Aug. 24.
