Just in case Gwyneth Paltrow’s Goop isn’t enough, Blake Lively is launching her own lifestyle site called Preserve.
Described in Vogue as “part digital monthly magazine, part e-commerce venture, part video blog,” Preserve hopes to celebrate real American life by showcasing handcrafted, artisanal goods. These goods will include food, clothing, furniture, home products and more.
Although this sounds very similar to Paltrow’s Goop, Lively denies the comparison, saying she is, “not trying to show you the perfect life or the aspirational life. It’s real life. It’s the thing that blindsides you on an idle Tuesday that’s tragic but that also makes you who you are. It’s not about me.”
Mainly, Lively wants to tell a story through the site, reported United Press International. She hopes visitors to the website will go on a journey with her “so we all sort of learn together.”
Lively’s husband, Hollywood star Ryan Reynolds, will also be contributing to the site.
“He’s a beautiful writer – he’s written a lot of stuff for us,” said Lively.
Preserve is expected to go live this month.
