Preserve, Blake Lively's e-commerce lifestyle website, finally went live on Tuesday after months of the actress talking it up.

The site officially launched today and features up a letter from the Lively herself explaining the website and what it offers to those who visit it. Lively notes that she is "more intimidated" by this project, humbly noting that she is "no editor, no artisan, no expert."

In the site, which features a darker aesthetic than one might first imagine from Lively (bringing to mind dark stained wood, perhaps), is filled with pictures and various stories written by other people as well as unique items and food and is meant to be "part magazine, part e-commerce hub, part philanthropic endeavor."

In the shop portion of the site, one can buy clothing, sauces, candles, hot fudge and a variety other things for prices that stretch from fairly cheap all the way up to several hundreds of dollars, including a messenger bag for $450.

As previously reported, the actress has been talking up the project for months, which is similar to Gwyneth Paltrow's own site GOOP, which features a polar opposite color scheme to Lively's Preserve.

Any purchases made through Preserve also will benefit Covenant House which looks to help homeless and abused children, with 5 percent of sales going to the organization.
