Brody Jenner is finally talking about why he neglected to attend stepsister Kim Kardashian’s star-studded wedding back in May.
Kim Kardashian and Kanye West tied the knot in front of hundreds of people in Florence, Italy. One person noticeably missing from the congratulatory crowd was her stepbrother and former The Hills reality star Brody Jenner. To make things more uncomfortable, Jenner went to Kardashian’s ex Reggie Bush’s wedding last week.
Now Jenner is opening up about the reasons behind his fishy absence. According to TMZ, he recently did a podcast with celebrity therapist Dr. Mike Dow where he spoke about his actions.
Jenner told his host that he has only had “one conversation” with his stepsister’s new husband and that “I don’t know Kanye at all.”
He also noted that the ceremony was to take place “in Paris, which is a long way away.” The nuptials actually happened in Florence, but he makes a solid point. Jenner also cited short notice for his choice to stay home. In fact, guests were only given “a few week notice” and he had already committed to doing a show in Chicago the night of the wedding.
As for his appearance at Reggie Bush’s wedding, Jenner actually “developed a very close relationship with Reggie” while the Kardashian dated the then-Saints player until 2010.
